Weekley went 1 nil up after 20 minutes although we had had many chances to score by this time. For a short while we panicked and gave the ball away far too often. However, we broke down the weekley defence with a good one two between keets and john. Keets' shot drew the keeper out of his goal and the ball landed in front of the open goal for dayne to slot in to make it 1 all. Weekley scored their second and again we came back with another goal from keets to make it 2 all at half time.

Weekley played a lot of balls over the top of our defence for their forwards to run on to and we lacked in picking this up on several occasions - unfortunately this was to be our downfall for their third goal. Although we pressed forward to try and equalise it just wasn't going to hit the back of the net for Earls Barton today, with a combination of "just wide of the target" and some good goalkeeping from Weekley's keeper in the last 5 minutes.

We can't afford to make these basic mistakes that have cost us 6 points in the last two games - however, hopefully it was just a bad day at the office, and we fight on next week.
