EARLS BARTON UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB

Kettering Town 10 v Earls Barton 0

8th March 2009

Earls Barton put on a very good performance in the first half today, played some good football and restricted Kettering to three goals before half time.

After the break with the wind behind them Kettering found their scoring boots and finished off the game with ease.

All credit to the Barton girls who did not give in, kept trying to play some good football and were unfortunate to not score a consolation goal.

With no recognised keeper in the squad two of the girls take it in turns to play in goal and Katie Newman had a fine first half today, Megan Watkins worked tirelessly up front but overall my player of the match award goes to Alix Daverson, who switched wings and played on the left today and did very well.
