With four key players missing, playing their Cricket Cup Final, and a few new players still to bed in Barton could not get it together today and made it easy for Kingsthorpe. Individually there were some good performances but collectively they could not find one another and could not keep possession of the ball long enough to threaten Kingsthorpe. It was disappointing after last week's excellent performance at Kettering Generals but one to put behind us and look forward to the next game.
