Bedford scored two goals within the first 6 minutes and it looked as though it may turn into a rout, but Barton steadied the ship and began to get into the game a little more. Bedford were very strong and Barton could not keep possession of the ball long enough to get their passing game going. H-T 2-0 Bedford scored again very soon after the break and although Barton had a couple of half chances we never really looked like scoring. Bedford added another two to finish the game off comfortably and Barton had keeper Katie Newman to thank for keeping the scoreline as it was. Player of the match goes to Katie Newman. |
