Earls Barton were taught a lesson by Abington today. They were strong, first to the ball, passed it around well and shot on sight - all things that Barton did not do. Having a 'stand in' keeper once again did not help, but no disrespect to Jessica Franklin, she did the best she could for the team. Hopefully by the time we have to face Abington again in 3 weeks time our keeper will be back to full fitness and we put up more of a fight. This has to go down as one of the games to forget and we need to pick ourselves up ready to face Rothwell next weekend. |
