After the break Barton got into the game a little more without ever really threatening the Kettering goal. Three more goals for Kettering in the second half with just one reply from Barton's leading scorer Kelly Hewitt wrapped up the game.

Barton were guilty of showing the opposition too much respect today and must learn to contest every ball whether they are playing top or bottom of the league. As the saying goes 'you have to be in it to win it - and today Barton were not in it'.
