Under 11’s Manager 2016-17
Q2. What was your motivation for getting involved?
My son and many of his friends play for our team, and nobody else wanted the job!
Q3. What do you feel makes the club so special?
The Community feel of the club with local boys and girls having the chance to play for their village team.
Q4. How would you describe your coaching style?
Ad hoc most of the time.
Q5. What is your favourite part of the coaching experience / your role in the club ?
My favorite part is seeing our team grow together. The friendships that these guy’s have established will last for many years I hope. I’m proud to have been part if that.
Q6. Who was your biggest playing or coaching influence and why?
Q7. If there was one part of the game (or your role if non coaching ) you would change what would it be?
Sunday afternoon matches! Sunday morning games are fine but Sunday afternoons should be spent relaxing.
Q8. If you could give your playing self one piece of advice , what would it be?
I should have started playing football at much younger age, rather than leaving joining a team in my late teens.
Q9. What’s your most fond memory from your time within EBUFC?
Seeing the teams reaction when they won their first match.
Q10. What would you say to a player considering joining EBUFC?
It’s a great club to cut your teeth with plenty of support and guidance on offer from a dedicated team of coaches and assistants.
